Founded in 2014, Brandon Schrock Custom Homes focuses on designing and building luxury residences throughout the greater Northwest Arkansas region. Each year they commit to just four to six projects, ensuring every home receives the same level of care and intention. While a larger firm may hand off work to hired supervisors, the Schrocks are personally present on-site, guiding every stage of the build. Brandon brings precision as a builder and Randi adds creativity as a designer, giving each home its own identity.
Front-Side Building
Instead of diving straight into construction, the Schrocks emphasize “front-side building”—an extensive planning phase where budgets, finishes, and details are finalized before a shovel ever hits the ground. By investing that time with architects, clients, and trade partners on the front end, they minimize changes later and keep projects running smoothly.
Cambria Connection
Their material choices reflect that same philosophy. Early on, the Schrocks installed a basic white quartz that, on the surface, looked fine—but when grout from the backsplash left permanent stains, they quickly realized not all quartz is created equal. “We didn’t understand there could be such a variation in performance,” Randi says. That experience pushed them to search for a product that offered both beauty and durability.
They found it in Cambria, and from that point on, it became their go-to surface. The family-owned, American-made company checked every box: authentic designs, reliable performance, a transferable Full Lifetime Warranty, and a brand story that resonated with their own.
Experiencing Cambria’s operations firsthand reinforced their trust in the product. “Brandon and I have been to Cambria Headquarters twice, and I love that they want people to see everything, because they stand behind their product and their process,” Randi says.
Standout Builds
Hawkins House: This historic residence was an ideal canvas for the Schrocks to showcase their craft. Wanting to preserve its character, they kept unique details like a restored Youngstown sink in the laundry, pairing it with Lakedale™ for a fresh yet functional update. In the primary bath, Mammoth Cave™* tops the vanity and a floating bench that supports the shower glass, combining utility with bold design.

Lake Point: This modern farmhouse with old-world character blends warmth and refinement into every detail. The kitchen centers on a Delgatie™ waterfall island, balanced by Whitehall® on the perimeter counters. The design continues into the primary bath, cladding a hydrotherapy tub and extending into the shower as a quartz-clad bench. The result is a space that feels cohesive, timeless, and built to last.
Designer Favorites
When asked for her go-tos, Randi doesn’t hesitate to name Whitehall, a refined, crisp white with soft gray flecks. She calls it “the person in the background who does all the work,” praising its ability to pair effortlessly with any palette or style. She also names Lakedale, with its waves of warm tan and cool gray. “When I look at this design, it gives me an indescribable feeling, and I love the warmth it brings to every room,” Randi says.
A Duo in Balance
Brandon favors clean, modern lines while Randi leans eclectic and bold. Together, that contrast becomes a strength—ensuring their homes feel layered and never one-note. Working as spouses, and often for spouses, adds another layer. “We’re 50% marriage counselors, 50% builders,” Randi says with a smile. They have learned as much working alongside each other as they have from guiding clients through the building process. Over the years, she notes, they have found balance by staying in their lanes on the job site while making room for family and life beyond work.
Looking Ahead
With projects now scheduled several years out, the Schrocks continue to raise the bar. Upcoming home designs will include rooftop gardens, infinity pools, and curved interior walls—features that demand as much forethought in planning as they do craftsmanship on-site. For Brandon and Randi, the goal remains the same: to build homes that feel both extraordinary and enduring.
