1. Fashion Forward

The Brooklyn home of designer Rebecca Minkoff is not unlike one of her signature handbags: spacious, subtly stylish—very put together, but not showy. Minkoff worked with interior designer Stephanie Gaelick to achieve the enviable look.

The kitchen, of course, got some serious love, especially since Minkoff enjoys cooking for her family. The open floor plan is anchored by quartz kitchen countertops topped in Cambria’s Queensbury. “It’s not too busy, but still bold, with sparkly veining that looks like you’ve cut open a geode,” notes Gaelick.

2. Naturally Modern

When content creators and YouTube stars Jess and Gabriel Conte decided to relocate from Los Angeles to South Florida, they turned to builder J.P. DiMisa and interior designer Jason Ball to help them create the custom home of their dreams.

To create a clean, organic aesthetic, they kept the palette minimal and incorporated plenty of wood finishes. Accenting with warm metallics and hints of black for contrast added dimension and a modern spin. Layers of rich texture helped create a “pre-aged” look.

In the kitchen, a Venetian plaster finish on the range hood, simple stacked tiles above the range, and Cambria Newport Matte white quartz countertops create a light, bright look with enough variation to keep things interesting. “They’re amazing,” says Gabriel about the Cambria countertops. “So beautiful, and durable!” Custom cabinets in a mix of white and natural wood offer open and closed storage for easy entertaining.

5. Tour Atlanta-Area Sustainable Wellness Retreat

Explore the 3,000-square-foot Portal Wellness Retreat at Serenbe, an award-winning integrated biophilic community located on 1,400 acres in rural Georgia that includes the Serenbe Portal Wellness Retreat. Designed by architect Steve Dray of Serenbe Planning & Design and interior designer Rebecca Cartwright, the Serenbe community features an eight-room spa, yoga, and Pilates studio, and farm-to-table restaurants.

Cambria is a natural choice for Serenbe since it doesn’t stain or chip like marble does. Instead, Cambria achieves the look of marble without the frustrations. Read more on Cambria quartz versus marble countertops.

And, like Serenbe, protecting the environment is second nature to Cambria, which acquired its own quartz mine and yields some of the highest-quality quartz found on Earth. The mine possesses a quartz supply sustainable for hundreds of years.

Also, Cambria quartz surfaces are listed as Health Product Declaration Collaborative (HPD) v2.1 and Living Building Challenge compliant.
