Based in Mooresville, NC, and serving the greater Charlotte area, Custom Crafted Kitchens & Baths is a full-service design-build firm specializing in kitchen and bath remodels. The company was founded in 2014 by Jason Youngs, who began as an installer and now also serves as owner, project manager, and licensed general contractor, bringing hands-on expertise to every stage of the process. As a full-service firm, it guides homeowners step by step, supported by experienced project managers and designers. This hands-on approach ensures every detail is handled with care from start to finish.
The Designers
That care extends to the design stage, as well. Lead Designer Kelli Keever, who has been with Custom Crafted Kitchens & Baths for 10 years, brings deep experience and a well-honed eye for detail to every project. She is joined by Designer Kristina Weidner, whose own expertise and style complement Kelli’s, creating a dynamic team that works closely with clients to bring their vision to life. While the company’s specialty is kitchens and baths, the designers have also worked with clients on the company’s whole-home design projects, helping to ensure every space aligns with the overall vision.
A Connection from the Start
Both Kelli and Kristina have worked with Cambria quartz surfaces for over two decades, bringing extensive product knowledge and design expertise to every project.
While Custom Crafted Kitchens & Baths was initially drawn to Cambria for its beauty and durability, the team quickly discovered the advantages of the brand’s consistent quality and dependable service. “You can count on the product’s quality, color, and look staying consistent. And if there’s ever a problem, Cambria will take care of it,” says Kristina.
Custom Crafted Kitchens & Baths’ clients are equally impressed, often gravitating toward Cambria’s range of designs—from soft, organic patterns to bold, dramatic styles. “There’s so much natural movement in Cambria’s designs, which is something our clients love,” Kristina adds.
Cambria Favorites
Over the years, certain Cambria designs have become favorites of Custom Crafted Kitchens & Baths and their clients. Inverness Frost™ stands out for its soft movement and textural feel, working beautifully in a variety of aesthetics. MacBeth™ delivers a timeless look for those seeking natural movement.
Cambria Natural Quartz Surfaces in Action
From light-filled lake retreats to spaces designed for both people and pets, Custom Crafted Kitchens & Baths demonstrates how Cambria can be both practical and eye-catching.
Lakefront Refresh: Kelli transformed a dark, dated kitchen into a bright and inviting centerpiece for a lakefront home. The navy and white cabinetry pairs with Cambria’s Portrush on the island with a mitered waterfall edge as well as on the surrounding countertops.

A Pet Station with Style: Kristina reimagined a full kitchen remodel to include a custom-built pet station clad entirely with Inverness Frost, complete with quartz-lined cutouts for dog bowls. The result is a stylish, durable solution that perfectly blends into the design of the home.
Beyond the Countertop
In addition to kitchen and bath countertops, the Custom Crafted Kitchens & Baths team finds inventive ways to incorporate Cambria throughout the home. Past projects have included custom fireplace surrounds, shower niches, and specialty trim pieces—applications that extend the beauty and performance of Cambria.
What’s Next in Design
Kelli and Kristina have noticed a shift from cooler tones toward warmer, more inviting color palettes. They’re also seeing clients move away from bold, high-contrast veining toward more subtle, refined patterns. For Kelli, that trend has made Cambria’s Colton® a popular choice. “Colton is my go-to for subtle veining—it works beautifully in so many spaces,” she says.
A Lasting Partnership
For Custom Crafted Kitchens & Baths, the relationship with Cambria goes beyond the material itself. “We often suggest ideas or give feedback to our Cambria rep, and they listen,” says Kelli. “That kind of partnership is fantastic.” It’s a collaboration built on trust, shared expertise, and the confidence of knowing each project will have a surface that delivers in both style and performance.
