Jean Stoffer and her daughter Grace at The Madison for the launch of the Stoffer Home Freestanding Cabinetry Collection.
Acclaimed designer and author Jean Stoffer, nationally known for her timeless interiors often featured on her Magnolia Network TV show The Established Home, has selected Cambria quartz designs to top a selection of island work tables within her new Freestanding Cabinetry Collection. This collaboration is a first for Stoffer—partnering with a countertop company to offer her customers the convenience of one-stop shopping for furniture pieces that include her recommended top. It’s also a natural next step in the relationship between two strong brands that share midwest origins and headquarters—Stoffer Home in Michigan and Cambria in Minnesota. These family-owned businesses value American craftsmanship, excellent customer service, and passion for design.
Stoffer’s appreciation for Cambria goes back several years. “I’m aware of quality differences in quartz,” says Stoffer. “We deliver a quality product and I just really want anything we’re associated with to have that same high standard.”
A couple of standout Stoffer interior design projects with Cambria include an overhaul of a classic Dutch Colonial she designed with daughter Grace and a charming Euro-inspired coffee shop called The Bradbury Cafe located just inside her Stoffer Home store in west Michigan.
Stoffer Home has become a Midwest design destination for fans of her modern classic style. And her online shop StofferHome.com offers a selection of home accessories, lighting, and cabinet hardware which beautifully accentuates her line of British-inspired cabinetry—Stoffer Home Cabinetry. Stoffer says her new Freestanding Collection, also available online, provides opportunities for those who don’t necessarily want to remodel their entire kitchen to still experience and incorporate heirloom quality pieces into their décor.
Jean Stoffer and her daughter Grace celebrate the launch of the Stoffer Home freestanding furniture collection, including the Morris Work Table shown here topped with Cambria Ironsbridge™.
The inspiration for the new Freestanding Collection sprang from Stoffer’s previous research into British kitchens. She says, “I found that the English have a lot of unfitted pieces, like work tables and dish dressers, that they take with them when they move from house to house. That just fascinated me.” Then, after the launch of Stoffer Home Cabinetry, her team began fielding inquiries about stand-alone kitchen islands or bathroom linen cabinets, and her son Daniel urged her to look into the idea of offering freestanding pieces. But any freestanding kitchen island would need a countertop to complete the vision.

Stoffer Home and Cambria fans rejoice! Because the newly launched Freestanding Collection includes three variations of the sure to be popular Morris table—an island work table available with a selection of five different Cambria quartz design top options. It can be a Morris Island, Morris Work Table or Morris Storage Table in a laundry room, garden room, or craft room. The idea is flexibility combined with high quality and the unique characteristics of heirloom furnishings—the tables are not permanently installed, they are classically designed, and they are beautiful and durable enough to pass down through generations.

The Morris is available in three variations and sizes. The Morris Island offers seating space with storage drawers on the opposite side. The Morris Work Table offers storage drawers. And The Morris Storage Table offers storage drawers and a bottom shelf. The size options are:
- 60'' x 30''
- 72'' x 36''
- 96'' x 42''
The wood craftsmanship with furniture style table legs available in 23 Stoffer Home Cabinetry finishes with classic hardware and a Cambria quartz countertop with an ogee edge all add to the Morris’ authentic heirloom aesthetic.
Beyond its beauty and flexibility are features that provide all of the desired functionality for food prep, project work, or entertaining space—including the durable luxury of a Cambria quartz top that resists chips and scratches, is food safe, nonabsorbent, and stain resistant. Cambria is also easy to clean, never needs sealing, and carries a Full Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects.
The Morris can be topped with a curated assortment of Cambria quartz design options hand picked by Jean Stoffer:
Ironsbridge™
MonTaaj™
MacBeth™
Carrick™
Charlestown™
Overall, Stoffer’s philosophy centers on quality and her desire to give people opportunities to own something that is made with high-quality materials and finishes and will last for generations. She says, “I’m more attached to this particular Freestanding Collection because it’s been the culmination of work that I’ve done for decades and it’s very exciting to be able to offer something that I know is so useful, high quality, and beautiful. I’m just thrilled.”
