Designed and built by GVD Renovations in collaboration with visionary homeowners, this project is a glowing testament to what happens when architecture, lifestyle, and material integrity align. 

From the moment you pull onto the home’s curved driveway, the exterior hints at something special within. Translucent garage door panels glow softly in both daylight and dusk, turning a utilitarian element into an artful statement. A sleek architectural portico at the front of the home is balanced by symmetrically planted trees. You’ll find mirrored tree plantings in the back of the home where a double-level patio extends the home’s living space out into nature with outdoor zones for entertaining, lounging, and retreat all layered into the backyard landscape.

Step inside, and the open floor plan flows from one space to the next with layers of lighting, planked flooring, and multiple dining spaces that reflect a lifestyle rooted in connection. Each space was designed not only for day-to-day living but also for gathering, entertaining, and the daily rhythms of a multigenerational family. Warm wood tones and cascades of natural light provide an irresistible canvas for more personalized design elements.

In the kitchen, Cambria’s Harlow quartz design steals the show with its warm, black-brown veining against soft, warm gray colorways and a cool, crisp white background. The waterfall island, full-height backsplash, and custom range hood—each clad in Cambria—create a cohesive, sculptural presence that draws the eye without overpowering the space. “We wanted the surfaces to do more than function,” says Vlad Gavrilyuk, founder of GVD Renovations. “We wanted them to inspire.”

European oak base cabinets add warmth while all-white upper cabinets ensure the Cambria isn’t competing for visual attention. In an adjacent pantry, a darker quartz design, Cambria’s Woodcroft, offers a dramatic counterpoint to the kitchen. This interplay of light and dark quartz isn’t just aesthetic; it reflects a deliberate design vision throughout the home. Every material has a narrative, and in this home, contrast is used to distinguish zones, enhance depth, and celebrate the versatility of the quartz.

Nowhere is this more apparent than in the primary suite. The bathroom’s wet-room concept is a masterclass in luxury and innovation. Cambria’s Inverness Everleigh quartz design sweeps beneath and around a freestanding tub, enveloping the space with organic beauty. Inside the shower, Cambria continues—cladding niches, walls, and curbs in a material that’s not only visually stunning but inherently practical. “Cambria gives us the ability to create spa-level impact with zero grout lines,” says Gavrilyuk. “It’s clean, continuous, and deeply elegant.”

Lighting plays a subtle yet crucial role throughout. Vanities, stair treads, and millwork are illuminated with soft LED lines—creating dimension without distraction. Even transitions are intentional. Oversized sliding doors erase the boundaries between indoors and out, letting light, air, and nature views become part of the design. From a sculptural staircase to the curated placement of windows that frame garden views like art, no detail is overlooked.
