An accountant by trade, BD Radadiya discovered the beauty and potential of stone fabrication through a client in British Columbia. Entrusted with running the client’s company, BD found himself drawn to the artistry as well as the business aspects.
In 2015, BD brought on his longtime friend Romil Singh, who quickly mastered the intricacies of fabrication, from polishing to CNC operation. Their shared passion for the craft and complementary strengths inspired them to start a business together.
By 2017, they had relocated to Edmonton, bought a small fabrication shop, and founded Fine Lines Granite & Quartz. What began as a modest, manual operation quickly grew. Today, the company is known for its high-end craftsmanship. And it is doubling the size of its current shop by building a 24,000-sq.-ft. showroom and fabrication facility, opening in 2026.

A Cambria Connection That Changed Everything
Cambria University™ played a pivotal role in shaping Fine Lines’ identity. Both co-founders have attended, with Ramil going four times and BD twice. They credit the immersive training and exposure to Cambria’s innovations with transforming their vision. “It inspired us to become a high-end custom shop,” says Romil.
Their Cambria visits and meeting CEO Marty Davis left a lasting impression. “We found him to be such a down-to-earth person. And everyone at Cambria has been amazing,” said BD, who also appreciated seeing the dairy farm where the Davis family’s business began.
Another key experience: visiting Cambria’s 2023 KBIS booth, where they explored innovations such as fluting, paneling, and sandblasting—and incorporated these innovations into their projects.
A True Commitment
In 2020, Fine Lines had a project that required certification in thermoforming. During the Covid pandemic, keeping safety top of mind, Ramil came to Cambria’s headquarters to complete the training, working through the required safety protocols with the Cambria team to get it done. For Fine Lines, the experience was a clear example of Cambria’s commitment to supporting its partners.
Reaching New Heights
Fine Lines has a diverse portfolio of high-end residential and commercial projects, including the lobby of the prestigious JW Marriott in Edmonton’s Ice District. It has also completed projects in the United States, such as the Jacobs Music Center, home to the San Diego Symphony.
Their current project, a stunning 10,000-sq.-ft. Edmonton residence featuring 55 Cambria slabs, exemplifies their expertise in thermoforming, backlighting, and a range of applications. The homeowner, now also a Cambria advocate, joined them for a visit to Cambria headquarters. They plan to host an event at the home to showcase Cambria’s design potential to the local design community.
Beloved Cambria Designs
Windsor Brass™ remains a favorite, and the new Brighton™ design, both natural and backlit, has become a compelling addition. They also often recommend Brittanicca™ to clients for its timeless look.
Why They Recommend Cambria
Educating clients is paramount for Fine Lines. When clients make budget-conscious inquiries, they emphasize Cambria’s superior stain resistance, maintenance-free properties, and Lifetime Warranty. “We tell them Cambria is the Rolls Royce of quartz, the best on the market with the most choice,” BD explains, highlighting its long-term value proposition.
Fine Lines also appreciates the ease of working with Cambria surfaces. “Quality materials are easier to fabricate, and the results are better,” says Romil.
Cambria’s consistency has also helped Fine Lines develop a specialty in quartz staircases—an area where Romil’s designs shine, like a statement staircase in the Bentley® design.

Polishing the Details
The company is known for its meticulous finish work, including machine-polishing surfaces and then hand-polishing the edges to ensure a consistent finish throughout—a detail often overlooked but always appreciated.
The Strength of Partnership
Fine Lines currently has 25 employees and several subcontractor crews. Romil manages production and residential clients, while BD leads commercial operations. The pair still share an office. “It’s easier,” Romil says. “We don’t even have to make a call to communicate.”
Their wives also work in the business, making Fine Lines a truly family-owned-and-operated company. “This business has helped us build a community,” says BD. “When we arrived in Edmonton, we only knew Romil’s sister. Now it feels like we know half the city.”
Looking Ahead
With a national presence as well as US projects, BD and Romil continue to aim higher. “We’ve done everything from homes to hotels. Yachts and jets are next,” says Romil with a smile.
