Founded in 2011 in Plymouth, MN, Revival House, formerly known as Mingle, is a full-service remodeling, new construction, and design studio, specializing in everything from custom cabinetry and layout to material selection and contractor coordination. Over time, the studio has expanded its scope to include furnishings, window treatments, wallpaper, and accessories, offering a more comprehensive approach to each project. While the firm’s work is primarily based in Minnesota, Revival House partners with clients across the country, delivering both full-service and design-only projects.

A New Chapter

In 2024, Revival House entered a new era when Bre Perrigo purchased the company after several years of working on the team as a kitchen and bath designer. She joined the business in 2020, following a chance conversation on a flight with Kelly Davert, General Manager of Revival House. Kelly initially connected Bre with a career opportunity in flooring, and years later, when Bre was ready for her next step, that same relationship led her to Revival House.

Under her leadership, Revival House has continued to evolve, with Bre noting, “My goal was to ensure the foundation of the company remained consistent while expanding our offerings and furthering our relationships.”

Cambria Connection from the Start

Bre was first introduced to Cambria early in her career, where it quickly became a consistent and reliable surface in her work. Over time, she has seen the product evolve alongside her own approach to design, with an expanding range of organic, dimensional designs that offer the visual depth her clients are drawn to with the quality needed for everyday living.

We never have a problem specifying or selling Cambria because the product itself is so strong and we know that with the full transferable lifetime warranty, they'll always be taken care of.

That combination of design and performance continues to shape how Revival House approaches material selection today. “Clients can view the full slab and understand how it will look in their space,” says Bre.

Standout Kitchen: The Power of Portrush

This remodel, which was also Bre’s first project as owner of the company, reimagined a kitchen for a family of five who wanted a more functional, chef-inspired space. The existing kitchen was dark, with a single small island that no longer supported the way the family lived and gathered.

The new design was centered on Cambria’s Portrush. It is featured across the countertops, full-height backsplash, and two islands—one with an extended edge for seating and the other with a waterfall. This double-island configuration allows for seating, prep, cooking, serving, and entertaining within one cohesive yet highly functional space.

Layered material selections further enhance the design. A deep gray range hood and soft blue cabinetry with gold rattan insets highlight the rich blue veining within Portrush, creating a balanced contrast that feels both intentional and dynamic. The result is a space that feels both elevated and highly livable, where Cambria serves not only as a surface but also as the element that brings the entire design into focus.

A Designer’s Favorites

Bre and the Revival House team gravitate toward a selection of Cambria designs that consistently resonate with both their design approach and their clients. Designs like Skara Brae® and Remington Brass™ stand out for their ability to bring depth and character into a space while still feeling versatile across different applications.

One of their longtime favorites is Brittanicca Warm™. “We called it the Chameleon because it goes with everything. You can pair it with a cool gray cabinet color or a warmer tone, and everyone loves it,” Bre says.

What’s Next for Revival House

In May, Revival House will be opening a new showroom that reflects the firm’s full-scope design approach on a larger scale, offering everything from cabinetry and furnishings to window treatments and wallpaper. For quartz, they exclusively feature Cambria. On display will be Kenwood™ in a Cambria Satin™ finish on the kitchen island, Notting Hill™ on the pantry countertops, and a full-height shower clad in Skara Brae paired with a Templeton™ bench.
