Leili Design Studio is a full-service interior design firm based in Bonita Springs, FL, with a second location in Boca Grande, FL. The firm specializes in luxury large-scale residential projects, primarily focusing on custom new construction and full-home renovations.
With over two decades of experience, Leili Fatemi brings a deeply intuitive approach to design. As a teenager, her passion sparked when her father brought her a pamphlet from an interior design school program. It led her to pursue a degree in the field. Today she creates both locally and internationally, and brings that passion to each project: reflecting the client’s personal style in a unique and sophisticated way.
Design Philosophy
At the core of Leili’s approach is a belief that every space should reflect the people who live there. Rather than focusing on trends or a singular aesthetic, she tailors each recommendation to capture the client’s lifestyle, personality, and values.
A Natural Fit with Cambria
Leili has been familiar with Cambria for decades, long before quartz surfaces became a mainstay in residential design. At the time, the look of granite was highly sought after, so Cambria introduced something entirely new: an innovative natural quartz collection that featured movement and depth similar to granite but without the extra maintenance. Leili recalls clients being drawn to its appearance and excited by its performance. To this day, she continues to specify Cambria for discerning clients who prefer easy-to-maintain surfaces.
What Clients Love Most
Leili’s clients appreciate Cambria for its durability, ease of maintenance, and the confidence that comes with its transferable Full Lifetime Warranty. They also value consistency; what they see in the sample is what they’ll see in their home, which helps eliminate surprises during the build process. For Leili, that level of reliability is especially important when working on long-lead-time custom projects.
Cambria surfaces also distinguish Leili’s studio. She chose Smithfield® for an 11-foot island in the team’s workroom and Brittanicca™ for the kitchen countertops, complete with matching backsplash.
Featured Projects
Beneva Oaks: Designed for a strong, creative New Yorker, this home features Bentley® on both the kitchen island and on the range hood in a lighter weight 1cm thickness. With bold veining and gold accents, the design was a perfect match for her client’s confident, expressive style. Leili paired it with Smithfield on the perimeter countertops.

Water Leaf: This light, earthy-inspired home features Ironsbridge throughout the kitchen, including the island, perimeter counters, and full-height backsplash. The soft, warm tones complement the surrounding finishes, bringing a calm, cohesive feel to the space.

Cambria Innovations
Leili is always exploring new ways to showcase the beauty and versatility of Cambria natural quartz surfaces. Here are just a few design-forward applications she has used over the years:
- Backlighting: In a kitchen project, Leili used Skara Brae® on a waterfall island with integrated lighting beneath the surface. “I love how the light moves through certain parts of the veining,” Leili explains. “It creates such a unique and beautiful effect.”
- Quartz Furniture: Leili has incorporated Cambria into custom furniture designs, in one case using Berkshire Steel Sculpted™ in Cambria Matte® finish as a durable yet elegant surface for a desk and console table. The pieces become unique and functional focal points with a refined, high-end feel.
- Quartz Wall Cladding: Leili often specifies Cambria’s lighter weight 1cm or 2cm slabs for vertical surfaces like TV walls, backsplashes, and shower cladding. With no grout lines and easy cleaning, these sleek applications are both practical and elegant.
More Than Just Design
Her advice to emerging designers: get involved in the full process. From concept to install, seeing how designs come together on-site builds confidence and knowledge on all aspects of the design process. “A good designer needs to understand construction and design to create something that can be properly executed,” says Leili. “It’s not just about making something look good—it’s about understanding how it’s built.”
