Weaver Homes: Where Craftsmanship Meets Community

Reaching a 40-year milestone is no small feat, but for Weaver Homes, it marks more than longevity. It reflects decades of steady growth rooted in family values, community-driven design, and a commitment to quality. As Chad Weaver, president and son of founder and CEO Bill Weaver, puts it, “When I think back to where it all began—working out of my parents’ garage, with papers stacked on desks and hand-drawn sketches spread out—it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come.”

Founded in Mars, PA, as a small family-run operation, Weaver Homes has steadily grown into a trusted full-service builder. Today, the company is building multiple communities across northern Pittsburgh, delivering personalized homes designed for modern living.

The Weaver Homes Approach

The company specializes in new construction within thoughtfully planned communities. It offers a range of curated floor plans that allow homeowners to personalize key elements. Buyers select a lot and floor plan, then make interior finish selections through a guided process that provides personalization without the complexity of a fully custom build.

That sense of intentionality carries through to the communities themselves. As Director of Sales and Marketing Taylor Walter explains, “Creating a strong sense of community is really important to us. We prioritize an active lifestyle with shared spaces like clubhouses, pools, and fitness centers that bring people together.” The result is an amenity-rich environment designed for connection, health, and low-maintenance living.

But for Weaver Homes, the experience is ultimately about more than floor plans and amenities. “Our people are what truly set the Weaver Homes experience apart,” says Chad. “Every interaction a homebuyer or prospective buyer has with our team reflects a genuine level of care that’s hard to find elsewhere.”

Cambria Connection: A Natural Partnership

Weaver Homes began working with Cambria just four years ago, quickly building a strong and trusted partnership.

What initially drew us to Cambria is the shared commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Much like us, our homebuyers place a high value on those principles, and Cambria consistently delivers.

President, Weaver Homes

Cambria’s design, durability, and performance have been key: “Cambria is a natural fit for the level of detail and finish we aim to bring to every home and community we build,” Chad adds. Features like American-made manufacturing and a transferable Full Lifetime Warranty offer buyers added confidence, reinforcing long-term value and peace of mind.

And, as a family-owned company, the connection with Cambria goes deeper. The team values working with a partner that shares similar roots and philosophies—something that resonates with homeowners, as well.

Homes Designed for Easy and Elegant Living

In Economy, PA, the Torino model home in Weaver Homes’ Lakeside Village community stands out for its subtle elegance. Within the home, the kitchen is centered around Cambria’s Everleigh design, featured across the island, countertops, and backsplash. “I chose Everleigh for its balance of cool tones as well as the warmth it brings to the space,” says Weaver Homes Design Specialist, Megan Pittman. The flowing design extends to the wet bar of this open-concept space, creating a cohesive sense of serenity throughout. Simple black accents and warm wood cabinetry pair beautifully with the design’s soft, honey-toned veining.

Another community, Woodland Reserve, in Evans City, PA, is home to the Canterbury model. In the kitchen of this model home, Cambria’s Skara Brae® takes center stage across the countertops and backsplash, which extends up behind the range. “When the design is carried across a full-height backsplash, it adds a dramatic focal point that shines in any kitchen,” Megan says. The design’s bold movement complements the home’s transitional aesthetic, resulting in a space that feels both refined and inviting.

The Next Chapter

As Weaver Homes looks ahead, the team is exploring new ways to incorporate Cambria into shared, high-visibility spaces within their communities. “I’d love to incorporate a design like MacBeth™ into one of our community spaces—especially in kitchen areas or breakfast bars where people naturally gather,” Taylor says.

With new communities on the horizon, the team is also expanding its offerings to include more traditional single-family homes and townhomes, reaching a broader range of buyers. This new chapter will focus on continued growth while staying true to the values that have defined its success for decades.
