As we continue to spend time in our homes, they have become a sanctuary now more than ever. Cambria has become the backdrop for everything from cooking and working from home to homeschooling and playtime.

Cambria’s residential clients rely on Cambria’s top-quality, handcrafted product that combines both design and durability—it is nonabsorbent, scratch and stain resistant, and maintenance free—to keep their loved ones both happy and healthy within just four walls.

That said, we checked in with a few Cambria fans—including DeMarcus WareAdam Glassman, T.J. and Lauren OshieMorgan and Jamie MolitorAnne Sage, and Maria Vizuete—who shared with us a peek into their stay-at-home setups.

DeMarcus Ware

The kitchen in the home of former NFL linebacker DeMarcus Ware serves as a gathering spot for his family, a place where they all come together to share stories of their days. “Homework is often done on the kitchen counter, too, since everyone can be seen and helped at once,” adds Ware.

From morning madness to afternoon study sessions, durable Cambria Delgatie™ can handle it all.

The thick Delgatie countertops, which are scratch and stain resistant against any stray pencil marks, are a focal point in the space, complementing the rustic wood beams, oversize refrigerator, and intricate woodwork on the island.

But during virtual appearances—Ware recently hosted the “Dallas Cowboys Draft Live” alongside Jamie Foxx for the NFL Draft—the neutral design lets Ware stay center stage. That’ll be important as he gears up to launch “two huge projects this summer in the fitness space.”

Calming neutral tones combine in Ware’s traditional kitchen featuring Delgatie.

“I’ve been grinding and look forward to sharing what I hope will be life changing and will help people feel like they can get a win,” says Ware.

Until then, he’s been relieving stress by playing golf daily in his home game room with a golf simulator. “I am also making sure the kids get outside for 60 minutes of play each day,” says Ware. “It’s important for them to come away from the screen and get their bodies moving.”

Adam Glassman

You’d think being the creative director of O, The Oprah Magazine would keep Adam Glassman plenty busy, but he’s also been filming “View Your Deal” shopping segments for ABC’s The View from his home studio, otherwise known as the kitchen.

The standout space features Cambria’s Brittanicca design in a matte finish on the countertops, island, and backsplash. Brittanicca lends visual interest to the warm white space but does not distract from Glassman’s work.

In other words, “It’s the perfect backdrop for these segments,” says Glassman. “Follow along @viewyourdeal.”

T.J. and Lauren Oshie

With three young children at home, NHL professional T.J. Oshie and wife Lauren have been using their kitchen for everything from cooking and baking to arts and crafts and the rare adults-only conversation. “Whatever it is, we’re doing it in the kitchen,” says Lauren. “And, luckily for us, our kitchen is a space where no detail has been overlooked.”

“We use our kitchen for everything, especially as of late,” says Lauren. “All of the neutral tones provide us with our own little ‘at home’ sanctuary that we have all grown to love.”

Morgan and Jamie Molitor

Jamie and Morgan Molitor, the contractor and designer behind construction2Style, were inspired by black and white kitchens with open shelving, gold hardware, commercial appliances, statement backsplashes, and quartz countertops for the remodel of their Elk River, MN, kitchen.

Inspired by the challenge they often pose to their clients—be bold and go big—the couple installed Delgatie white countertops in a matte finish to pop against the dark cabinetry and the variety of colors, shapes, and sizes in the custom backsplash by Mercury Mosaics, which altogether create a one-of-a-kind look.

“Our kitchen island has become our boys’ crafting area,” says Morgan. “We are thankful for durable Cambria countertops that can swiftly wipe paint clean in time to convert the space over for dinner.”

Morgan’s own workspace is in the newly renovated lower level with a Berwyn quartz bar that doubles as her home office. “I’m so happy to have an inspiring space to work in daily to get those creative juices flowing, just in the nick of time,” she says.

Anne Sage

With a new baby, California-based interior designer Anne Sage has been embracing time at home. “One thing I’ve been focused on is trying to maintain a routine, and my days always start in the kitchen with a cup of coffee and breakfast with the family,” says Sage. “It’s the heart of the home.”
