Channel Marketing Manager

The Channel Marketing Manager will set the strategic direction and oversee the development and management of integrated marketing plans for all channel marketing initiatives for Cambria.   This role will establish best-in-class marketing strategies for tangible demand generation activities and results.  

This role calls for a strategic leader with extensive experience leading companies in marketing planning processes. While a well-rounded foundation of cross-discipline marketing skills is important, equally so is the ability to adapt them to a rapidly evolving marketing organization.  We need someone who can apply proven approaches and processes to our more agile environment.  The role calls for strategic thinking and strategic execution. We are looking for a passionate business leader obsessed with channel and category understanding, with a strong will to win. This role reports to the Director of Segment Marketing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and measure programs that enable our Sales teams to be successful in their marketplace including: customer promotions, channel incentive programs, joint marketing initiatives, lead generation activities, and sales/product training efforts
  • Create strategic plans to engage and market to our channel partners, focusing efforts on Cambria retailer base, installers, fabricators and distributors
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to develop and execute programs and tools for Sales teams
  • Responsible for the trade communications calendar and timing for all marketing initiatives for trade audiences
  • Continually evaluates business performance, adjusts plans as required, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify, analyze and prioritize channel audiences to create targeted messages and plans to effectively reach the individual channel markets
  • Identify industry and competitive trends and make recommendations for action plans and programs to address these issues
  • Initiate and manage meetings and visits to Cambria for core channel partners.  Create relationships with these key contacts and maintain regular communication with each group
  • Strengthen existing and develop new point of sale displays, collateral, and signage to enhance Cambria’s presence at the kitchen and bath retailer
  • Manage Cambria’s inventory and order processing of all retail point of sale items by internal sales and all channel partners
  • Manage Cambria’s co-operative marketing program offered to business partners
  • Initiate and organize regular retail audits in all markets to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of point of sale
  • Manage Cambria’s trade association memberships and participation within each group 

Desired Skills & Experience:

Education/Training:  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or similar field

Related Experience: Requires 5-10 years marketing experience, understanding of the industry and channel marketing is preferred.
