Microsoft SharePoint Administrator

Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment.  This position is responsible for working with business leaders, key users, and technology teams to design, build, and maintain an enterprise content strategy for Cambria.  This SharePoint guru will serve as the application administrator, developer, and analyst for the SharePoint platform and support adoption and use of SharePoint in the organization.


  • Meet with key users to coordinate requirements gathering
  • Assist in the development and implementation of governance policies and standards for SharePoint
  • Provide training to users, content contributors, and site managers as needed
  • Work in collaboration with site administrators to develop site templates, business processes, and document management solutions
  • Design and develop solutions as needed by project and service requirements
  • Create site and portal templates as needed
  • Manage application performance, availability, backups, and data retention
  • Provide end-user support for all SharePoint-related issues
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues for SharePoint and related third party solutions       
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (preferred majors include Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience administering SharePoint
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, including technical and business documentation
  • Strong understanding of business processes, operations, and applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including both technology and business resources
  • Ability to work with and support users at all experience levels
  • Experience in SharePoint administration and Web/Portal Development
  • Experience in site design, administration, and security
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL, and Reporting Services
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills and experience
