Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse Architect

Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment.  This position is responsible for the overall data strategy including: data modeling, design, ETL development, enterprise reporting, and analytics in support of business KPIs and performance measures.


Responsibilities:

  • Architect overall data strategy for Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence
  • Recommend "end-to-end" solutions, considering people, process and systems, to align the technology roadmap and business objectives
  • Facilitate the creation of data models to deliver high-performance, high-integrity business intelligence
  • Recommend and assist in utilizing data visualization tools for data owners and data stewards
  • Mentor and train employees to develop technical, visual, and reliable data standards
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of governance policies and standards and educate stakeholders on data governance
  • Facilitate dialogue to resolve issues and conflict related to data issues
  • Set KPIs for data governance, data quality, and metadata
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience working with business process owners to identify and document information needs and develop reports and dashboards, including KPIs
  • 5+ years of experience with complex data environments, developing SQL queries, and using business intelligence tools such as Business Objects
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts and design
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, including technical and business documentation
  • Strong understanding of business processes, operations, and applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including both technology and business resources
